Who we are
This website is operated by Plumb Digital, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia (“Plumb Digital”, “we”, “us”). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Information you give us, when you use our contact form or email us:
- your name and email address;
- your message and what you are looking for (for example the type of enquiry, budget range and starting point);
- anything else you choose to tell us.
Information collected automatically when you visit, through cookies and similar technologies:
- pages viewed, links clicked and how you arrived at the site;
- your approximate location, device, browser and operating system;
- online identifiers such as cookie IDs and your IP address.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and discuss working together;
- to run, secure and improve this website;
- to measure how our website and advertising perform, and to show our advertising to people who may be interested in it;
- to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information.
Analytics and advertising tags
This website uses the following third-party tools. They set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser and send information about your visit to the provider.
- Google Analytics (Google) measures traffic and how people use the site. Opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) lets us measure actions such as submitting the contact form and show our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Manage this in your Meta ad preferences.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn) lets us measure conversions and show our ads on LinkedIn. Manage this in your LinkedIn ad settings.
The details you type into our contact form are not sent to Meta or LinkedIn. They receive only that an action, such as a form submission or an email link click, took place. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of interest-based advertising at youradchoices.com.au. Blocking cookies will not stop you using the site.
Who else sees your information
- Service providers that help us run the website and our email, such as Google (Workspace and Analytics) and our hosting provider.
- Meta and LinkedIn, for the tags described above.
- Professional advisers, or authorities where the law requires it.
Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. By using the site and contacting us you understand this. Where we can, we choose providers with published privacy and security commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to respond and, if we work together, to manage that relationship and meet our legal obligations. We then delete or de-identify them. Analytics data is kept according to the settings of each provider.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
You can ask to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@plumbdigital.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
